My latest album Renee Simone ROAR is inspired by the incredible women that I have been journeying with whilst teaching them to sing and play ukulele. I found the stories that come from the hearts of women are incredibly moving and universally relevant.

The common thread is that people like to feel strong as a man or woman yet many of us aren’t quite sure what that really means in this day and age. This album is a celebration of the gift of inner strength in a variety of aliases. Its been a joy to create I hope its as joyful for you to have playing in your life. I’ve never experienced such a well-planned set list. Renee begins with a series of soft Caribbean jazz songs, soothing the audience and making them forget the stresses of their day. She shares the spotlight with her band mates.
